The Breaking Point

In "The Breaking Point," John Garfield plays Harry Morgan, a sport-fishing boat captain whose business is on the skids and his family struggling to make ends meet. As he becomes embroiled in smuggling Chinese immigrants from Mexico into California, Garfield's character finds himself trapped in a web of crime and deceit, with no clear escape route - literally, as he becomes stranded in Mexico with only one way back home.
