Four women, whose kids attend the same preschool class, come together for a "fun mom dinner" that takes an unexpected turn, forcing these unlikely new friends to confront their shared struggles and insecurities in a film directed by woman director Alethea Jones. Starring Katie Aselton, Toni Collette, Bridget Everett, Molly Shannon, and Adam Scott, Fun Mom Dinner blends humor with heartfelt moments, although its tone can be uneven at times.
