William Tell

In 14th Century Switzerland, the European nations vie for supremacy within the Holy Roman Empire. A formerly peaceful hunter, William Tell, finds himself forced to take action as his family and homeland come under threat from the oppressive Austrian King and his ruthless warlords. After witnessing a brutal rape and murder in his own village, Tell joins forces with a young farmer and others in the Swiss nobility to resist their foreign occupiers. With the fate of his country hanging in the balance, Tell must confront his past as a war-weary Crusade veteran to become the symbol of resistance against tyranny.
