"Murder City" is a gritty, unflinching thriller that plumbs the depths of despair as a disillusioned ex-cop navigates the dark underbelly of crime-ridden streets, bound to his own troubled demons and driven by desperation. With its bleak urban landscape and unyielding narrative, this film adheres to a familiar yet affecting trope: a man torn between loyalty and survival in a world where the lines are constantly blurred.
