Antonio Fargas is a veteran American actor born on August 14, 1946, in New York City's Spanish Harlem. He gained widespread recognition for his breakout role in the comedy film Putney Swope (1969) and later became iconic as Huggy Bear in the TV series Starsky & Hutch. After a string of blaxploitation movie roles, Fargas continued to appear in various films and TV shows throughout the decades.
