Chasing Mavericks

"Chasing Mavericks" is a biographical drama film about American surfer Jay Moriarity, played by Jonny Weston, who sets out to ride the Northern California break known as Mavericks. After being saved from drowning by his next-door neighbor and mentor Frosty Hesson (Gerard Butler), Jay embarks on a journey of training and dedication to master the sport. With Frosty's guidance, Jay overcomes numerous challenges and eventually catches his first wave at Mavericks, marking a turning point in his life.
