A horrified teen mutates into a crazed cannibalistic swamp creature, driven by a terrifying secret: he's the product of his father's dark past. As he careens out of control, his family must uncover the shocking truth behind his transformation before it's too late. With graphic violence and gore aplenty, this 1982 horror film pays homage to the monster movies of the 1950s while exploring themes of Southern Gothic atmosphere and doomed teenage romance.
