Neither the Sea Nor the Sand

Neither the Sea nor the Sand is a 1972 British horror film about Anna Robinson (Susan Hampshire), who retreats to Jersey after her failed marriage and finds fulfillment in an affair with lighthouse keeper Hugh (Michael Petrovitch). However, when tragedy strikes, Anna longs for the arms of her lover, who unexpectedly returns from the dead, with some macabre changes awaiting them both. As their relationship unravels, Anna realizes that she must confront reality with a fresh and frequently troubling perspective.
