The Burning Bed

Farrah Fawcett stars as Francine Hughes, a battered housewife who sets her husband's bed on fire after thirteen years of physical domestic abuse at his hands. The movie tells the true story of Francine's past and her courtroom trial for murder, during which she testifies about the horrifying instances of abuse she suffered from her ex-husband Mickey Hughes, played by Paul Le Mat.
