Blood of My Blood

In the Middle Ages and modern times, Federico Mai (Pier Giorgio Bellocchio) is connected to a convent in Bobbio through different roles. A soldier named Federico (Roberto Herlitzka) visits the same convent centuries ago to secure burial grounds for his brother, who was accused of witchery. In contemporary Italy, Federico becomes involved with the same convent where a mysterious "Count" resides. The story weaves together past and present.
