Final Portrait

The film follows Alberto Giacometti (Geoffrey Rush) as he commissions his friend James Lord (Armie Hammer) to sit for a portrait in his Paris studio. As the sitting progresses over several weeks, tensions arise between Giacometti and his wife Annette (Sylvie Testud), who feels neglected by his affections. Meanwhile, Lord struggles with the delays and becomes increasingly invested in the project, even as he faces challenges from Giacometti's brother Diego (Tony Shalhoub) and the artist's own personal demons.
