Tales from the Crapper

In this offbeat anthology film, Troma Entertainment's Lloyd Kaufman presents two horror stories that blend highbrow entertainment with kung fu action, alien adventure, and even vampire lesbian sex, featuring a mix of gore, nudity, and unexpected humor. Shot over three years by six directors and close to fifteen writers, the project was plagued by production issues, including missing sound, unprofessional camera work, and an unfinished budget. Re-shooting began in 2003, with Kaufman overseeing production and dealing with incompetent crew members, leading to a grueling post-production process that ultimately transformed the segments from horror films into over-the-top comedies. The result is a bizarre and irreverent film that defies genre conventions and pushes the boundaries of good taste.
