Black Bread

In the harsh post-war Catalan countryside, 11-year-old Andreu discovers the corpses of a man and his son in the forest, sparking a quest to uncover the truth behind their deaths. With the help of his aunt Núria and a mysterious boy with tuberculosis, Andreu uncovers dark secrets about his family and community, including a web of lies and deceptions that lead him to question everything he thought he knew about himself and those around him.
