Follow the River

Mary Ingles (Sheryl Lee), a pregnant settler, is captured by Shawnee Indians along with her two sons during an attack on their homestead in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. Impressed by her resilience under captivity, the Shawnee chief Wildcat confers special privileges on Mary, but she remains faithful to her husband Will and engineers a plan for escape. Separated from her children, Mary joins another female settler and embarks on a perilous journey back home, reunited with her long-lost children after over a decade.
