Super Shark

A 2011 science fiction comedy horror film that sees a marine biologist named Kat Carmichael investigating and surviving the rampage of a mutated primordial shark after an offshore drilling accident triggers its release into Los Angeles. The creature's ability to walk on dry land and fly sets it apart from other shark films, but its poorly executed special effects often overshadow its entertainment value. Despite being panned by critics for its lackluster production, "Super Shark" still manages to provide a mindless, action-packed ride thanks in part to the charms of lead actress Sarah Lieving as Kat Carmichael.
