In this 1943 musical comedy, movie star Lucille Ball is persuaded to attend a military academy's dance by her publicity-hungry agent, only to find herself caught in a complicated web of romance and deception when her actual girlfriend shows up unexpectedly. As chaos ensues, Harry James and his orchestra provide lively musical accompaniment, including the iconic "Flight of the Bumblebee". With its lighthearted humor and catchy songs, Best Foot Forward is a charming film that showcases Lucille Ball's early stardom amidst the backdrop of military academy shenanigans.
