The Substance of Fire

Isaac Geldhart (Ron Rifkin) is a Holocaust survivor struggling to cope with his wife's recent death, causing him to sabotage his publishing firm by printing books with no commercial potential. His son Aaron (Tony Goldwyn), also working at the company, grows frustrated with Isaac's emotional decline and tries to take over the firm, involving his other children, Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Martin (Timothy Hutton).
