Elizabeth Franz

Biography

Elizabeth Franz was born Elizabeth Jean Frankovitch on July 18, 1941, in Akron, Ohio. Growing up, she found solace in acting as a way to cope with her mother's mental health struggles and her own family dynamics. After graduating from Copley High School, Franz attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she honed her craft despite being warned that success might elude her past age 40.
