Coming to America

Eddie Murphy stars as Prince Akeem Joffer, who travels to New York City under a fake identity to find a woman he can marry for love, not status. In Queens, he befriends Arsenio Hall's character Semmi and lands a job at a fast-food restaurant called McDowell's, where he meets Shari Headley's Lisa McDowell. Akeem's attempts to win Lisa's heart are complicated by her lazy boyfriend, but ultimately, they find love and happiness together.
