The film "Tale of Tales" (2015) is a fantasy horror tale based on Italian poet Giambattista Basile's collection of fairy tales, Pentamerone. The story follows three main characters: Queen of Longtrellis (Salma Hayek Pinault), the King of Strongcliff (Vincent Cassel), and the King of Highhills (Toby Jones). A necromancer's suggestion leads to a series of events that explore themes of desire, obsession, motherhood, and the struggle between generations.
