Bigfoot Wars

After the mayor of Boggy Creek is murdered by an unknown assailant, local news reporter Kendall Sharp for KRKR-8 News delivers a special report on a series of disappearances and unsolved murders. After first suggesting that Sasquatch may be responsible for the murders, Sharp suggests that local criminal Eddie Justertin, a member of a "self-styled, Dixieland mafioso family," may be the one to blame. The following day, six young adults (Steve, Heather, Amanda, Danny, Jo, and Collyn) trespass into a closed section of a state park, where they plan to camp for the weekend. As they separate, they are attacked by Bigfoot, with some of the campers killed on screen. Sheriff Jim Taylor enlists the help of survivalist Zeke (C. Thomas Howell), who has an expertise in tracking and hunting. Through a phone call, the sheriff learns that only five bodies were found, and that one of the campers, a female, is missing. Ex-deputy Mark Kline discovers a missing woman named Dakota running through the woods before rescuing her. As news reporter Sharp investigates further, she encounters the creature and narrowly escapes being attacked by it. Meanwhile, Sheriff Taylor visits Dakota's home in an attempt to inform her father Zeke that she has been located, but is met with hostility. That evening, Bigfoot enters a local drive-in where Billy Blair plays, crushing Billy's head before dragging Savannah off into the woods. Sheriff Taylor forms a posse to find his daughter and reporter Sharp joins them on their search. When they stumble upon Eddie Justertin's hideout, he fires warning shots, but is soon killed by Deputy Walton with his tactical shotgun. As Bigfoot emerges from the woods, Zeke explains that all female Bigfoot have gone extinct and must now survive by kidnapping human females and impregnating them. The posse eventually discovers Bigfoot's lair, where they find Savannah alive. Zeke then attacks a Bigfoot, cuts its head off, but is later impaled by an unseen force. The two girls escape from the lair, but are soon surrounded by many Bigfoot who pounce on them and rip the men to shreds.
