The Corpse

A mother and daughter, Edith (Yvonne Mitchell) and Jane (Sharon Gurney), hatch a scheme to murder their family's domineering patriarch, Walter Eastwood (Michael Gough). The plan is set in motion when Walter, a wealthy and controlling husband, brutally beats his teenage daughter after she steals money. Edith and Jane attempt to kill him at his hunting cottage, but their plans are thwarted and they force him to drink a sedative, leading them to dispose of his body in a remote location. However, Walter seems to miraculously return from the dead, causing tension and foreboding for the women.
