In "Broken Land," David Morse plays Carson Tidwell, a Texas border rancher who mistakenly shoots a young migrant woman named Irena (Jaklyn Bejarano) as she crosses his property. As he grapples with the consequences of his actions, Carson must decide whether to help Irena, potentially risking discovery by his estranged son, Harley Tidwell (Bill Heck), a Border Patrol Agent.
