The film "Yes" (2004) is a romantic drama about an unnamed Irish-American microbiologist (Joan Allen) who falls into a carefree and passionate relationship with a Lebanese Muslim chef (Simon Abkarian). As their connection begins to implode due to cultural differences, she invites him to travel with her to Cuba, where they both undergo emotional and physical renewal.
