Simon Abkarian

Biography

Simon Abkarian is a French-Armenian actor born on March 5, 1962, in Gonesse, Val d'Oise. He spent his childhood in Lebanon and later joined an Armenian theater company in Los Angeles before returning to France. Notable roles include the lead in Sally Potter's "Yes" (2004), a villainous turn as Alex Dimitrios in James Bond's "Casino Royale" (2006), and a critically acclaimed performance in Richard Kalinoski's "Beast on the Moon" (2001).
