Cinema Paradiso

A filmmaker recalls his childhood in the village's theater, where he fell in love with cinema and formed a deep friendship with the projectionist Salvatore "Totò" Di Vita, who became like an older brother to him. The film centres on their close bond as Totò grows up and eventually becomes a renowned film director, while Alfredo remains his blind mentor and confidant, teaching him valuable life lessons through classic films.
