In this beautifully gritty, visually striking cosmic adventure, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice. With a powerhouse performance from Milly Alcock, the film shines brightest when diving into the somber depths of survivor's guilt, featuring a scene-stealing Jason Momoa as Lobo. However, it gets dragged down by a bland villain, an inconsistent emotional anchor in Eve Ridley's Ruthye, and a disjointed tone that makes it hard to pinpoint its target audience.
