Coonskin

In a blistering satire of racism and social inequality, "Coonskin" follows the rise to power of three anthropomorphic outlaws in 1930s Harlem: Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Bear. As they navigate a web of corruption, con artists, and the Mafia, these characters - referred to as Brother Rabbit, Preacher Fox, and Brother Bear - use wit, cunning, and violence to outmaneuver their foes. Set against a backdrop of live-action sequences and vibrant animated vignettes, "Coonskin" is a searing critique of racism within American society, both in the film industry and beyond.
