Los placeres ocultos follows Eduardo (Simón Andreu), a wealthy, closeted homosexual banker, as he falls for a young, straight man named Miguel (Tony Fuentes). Miguel's girlfriend Carmen (Beatriz Rossat) becomes a mediator between Eduardo and Miguel, helping them develop a close friendship that fills the void in Eduardo's life. As their bond grows, a married woman named Rosa (Charo López) spreads rumors that Miguel is gay, leading to a confrontation that ultimately brings the trio closer together. The film concludes with Eduardo's face lighting up with joy as the doorbell rings, hinting at a newfound connection.
