Romasanta

In 1851, a small Spanish village is plagued by a serial killer who is discovered with savage mutilation and precise surgical incisions. Manuel Romasanta, played by Julian Sands, confesses to the crimes but claims to be a victim of lycanthropy. A scientist, Professor Philips, played by David Gant, argues that Romasanta suffers from a mental disorder, while Barbara, played by Elsa Pataky, begins to suspect Romasanta's true nature after her sister disappears. The legend of the "Werewolf of Allariz" spreads, fueled by the gruesome discoveries.
