The Giant Claw

A mysterious UFO crash-lands in the Arctic, revealing a giant turkey-like bird that wreaks havoc on modern civilization. The US military scrambles to identify and stop the creature, led by Lt. Gen. Edward Considine (Morris Ankrum), alongside mathematician Sally Caldwell (Mara Corday) and civil aeronautical engineer Mitch MacAfee (Jeff Morrow). As the bird's killing spree intensifies, MacAfee and Caldwell uncover its sinister purpose: to build a nest on Earth. The two must join forces with General Van Buskirk (Robert Shayne) and Dr. Karol Noymann (Edgar Barrier) to deploy a unique solution - mesic atoms - that can disrupt the bird's antimatter shield, saving humanity from destruction.
