Sonia Friedman, a neurotic and charming jingle writer, is forced by her boyfriend Chris to choose whether she wants to join the ranks of her married friends or live out her fantasies without him. In a whimsical romantic comedy that satirizes cultural expectations of gender and romance, Sonia must confront her fears of commitment and explore what it means to be a woman. With the help of her friends Nora and Lee, as well as her own inner dialogue and flashbacks, Sonia navigates a complex web of relationships, desires, and societal pressures.
