Cure

A detective investigates a series of murders where the perpetrators all confess without motive or explanation, leading him to a mysterious young man with extreme memory loss. Character Kinio Mamiya (Masato Hagiwara) appears to have no recollection of his past but uses mesmerism and hypnosis to plant homicidal suggestions in strangers' minds. As the investigation unfolds, the detective's private life begins to falter, and he becomes increasingly obsessed with uncovering the truth behind the murders.
