Return to the 36th Chamber

In this Shaw Brothers Studio Hong Kong martial arts comedy film, Gordon Liu stars as Chu Jen-chieh, a con artist posing as a Shaolin monk who hires himself out to work on a factory's scaffolding project. As he trains in kung fu and eventually infiltrates the prestigious 36th Chamber of Shaolin temple, Jen-chieh discovers his true potential as a martial artist. With his newfound skills, he leads a rebellion against the ruthless factory owner who wronged him and his fellow workers, using his "rooftop kung fu" style to outmaneuver and defeat his foes in a thrilling display of action and comedy.
