Biography

Gordon Liu Chia-hui is a Chinese martial arts film actor and martial artist born Sin Kam-hei on August 22, 1951, in Guangdong. He rose to fame playing the lead role of San Te in The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978) and later portrayed kung fu master Pai Mei in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004). Liu's notable performances include roles in Shaw Brothers films such as Challenge of the Masters (1976) and Tiger on the Beat (1988). He has continued to work in martial arts cinema, transitioning to smaller roles by the late-1980s.
