Painted Skin: The Resurrection

In a world where demon form requires centuries to attain, a legend emerges of a pure human heart freely offered to a demon, allowing them to experience true life. The sequel to the 2008 film Painted Skin, Painted Skin: The Resurrection reunites most of the original cast in a new storyline and characters with some degrees of connection. A quirky bird demon named Que'er rescues a fox demon Xiaowei from imprisonment, and together they embark on a perilous quest for a man willing to give his heart to Xiaowei.
