Legendary Weapons of China

In this 1982 martial arts fantasy film, Empress Dowager Cixi dispatches her agents to find supernatural martial artists invulnerable to western bullets during the late Qing Dynasty's Boxer Rebellion. A great variety of fights takes place as assassins from rival factions hunt down one of their leaders who has disbanding his forces, leading to a series of intense battles showcasing the "legendary weapons" of various clans and individuals. Along the way, an old woodcutter with great strength becomes embroiled in the conflict, while a young man and woman also navigate their roles as assassins and their growing sense of morality.
