Dead of Winter

A struggling actress is lured to a remote mansion for a screen-test, only to discover she is being held captive as part of a blackmail plot. Mary Steenburgen plays multiple roles in the film, which also stars Roddy McDowall and Jan Rubeš. The movie follows Katie McGovern's desperate attempt to escape the sinister clutches of Dr. Joseph Lewis and his accomplice Mr. Murray.
