This charming 1943 film is a light-hearted western romantic comedy that pairs unlikely couple Jean Arthur and John Wayne in a delightful on-screen romance. A city girl on a bus tour of the US gets floored by a handsome rodeo performer in Oregon, leading to an endearing love story filled with humor and wit. With soft lighting, a sophisticated score, and delightful performances from its leads, "A Lady Takes a Chance" is a fun, feel-good film that never fails to put a smile on your face.
