Three estranged brothers agree to meet in India a year after their father's funeral for a "spiritual journey" aboard a luxury train, hoping to reconnect and find themselves on a path of healing and catharsis. As they travel through the Indian countryside, tension builds as Peter and Jack become increasingly frustrated with Francis's controlling behavior, while Francis secretly searches for their mother, whom they have not seen in many years. The brothers' journey takes a dramatic turn when they are ejected from the train after a physical altercation, leading them to re-evaluate their relationships and ultimately find their way back to each other and their family in the Himalayas.
