In the near future, World War III has ended and a new form of entertainment, The Big Hunt, has become the world's most popular spectacle. This high-stakes game show pits contestants against each other in a battle to the death, with the last person standing walking away with immense wealth and fame. Against this backdrop of violence and entertainment, two contestants, Caroline Meredith and Marcello Poletti, find themselves at odds - but also falling deeply in love - as they engage in a deadly game that threatens to upend their lives forever.
