Cape Fear

Gregory Peck stars as Sam Bowden, a lawyer whose testimony sends violent psychopath Max Cady (Robert Mitchum) to prison, but eight years later, Cady is released and begins stalking Bowden's family, including his wife Peggy and daughter Nancy. As Bowden tries to protect them, he turns to the police for help, but they are unable to intervene without concrete evidence. In a desperate bid to save his family, Bowden takes them on a houseboat in the Cape Fear region of North Carolina, where Cady ultimately awaits them with deadly intentions.
