In this offbeat comedy-drama, an unlikely friendship blossoms between a hapless Mafia henchman and a humble shoe repairman fingered by the Mob for a murder he didn't commit. When Gino is mistaken for a powerful mob boss, Jerry is catapulted to the highest levels of mobster status alongside his unsuspecting friend. As they navigate their new roles, Jerry's tall tales and Gino's quiet dignity lead them on a wild adventure from Lake Tahoe to Chicago. In the end, it's their bond that saves the day, as they team up to shine shoes rather than spark violence.
