In 1983, Seo In-woo (Lee Byung-hun) meets In Tae-hee (Lee Eun-ju), an art student, on a rainy night in Seoul, sparking his infatuation with her. Seventeen years later, In-woo is married with a daughter, but when Im Hyun-bin (Yeo Hyun-soo), who resembles Tae-hee, joins his homeroom class, In-woo's past feelings resurface, leading to a crisis of sexuality and ultimately, a revelation that he was Tae-hee in a past life.
