Son of Dracula

Count Alucard, played by Lon Chaney Jr., is invited to the U.S. by Katherine Caldwell, a student of the occult (Louise Allbritton). Her former romantic partner Frank Stanley becomes suspicious when Katherine looks and acts strangely after marrying Alucard. With the help of Dr. Harry Brewster (Frank Craven) and psychologist Laszlo (J. Edward Bromberg), who suspect vampirism, they uncover Alucard's true nature as a vampire and ultimately destroy him with sunlight and a crucifix.
