Bat*21

During the last days of the Vietnam War, Lieutenant Colonel Iceal E. "Gene" Hambleton, call sign BAT-21 Bravo, is flying aboard an EB-66C electronic warfare aircraft when a massive SAM explosion tears off his tail and ejects him as the sole survivor of the six-man crew. With no rescue helicopters available due to a shortage, Hambleton devises a plan with Air Force reconnaissance pilot Capt. Bartholomew "Birddog" Clark to reach safer territory, using a complex code based on golf courses to track his progress. The daring rescue mission unfolds over eleven days, as Hambleton and Clark face treacherous jungle terrain, ground fire, and North Vietnamese forces in a heart-pumping bid for survival.
