The Super

"The Super" is a 1991 American comedy film about Louie Kritski Jr. (Joe Pesci), a heartless slumlord who's sentenced to live in one of his own New York City buildings until it's brought up to code. After initially refusing, Louie bonds with the building's residents, including Marlon (Rubén Blades), and makes amends for his greediness through actions like donating space heaters. The film ends with Louie's building completely refurbished, Marlon becoming the new super, and a grateful Louie driving off in his restored Corvette.
