The Outlaw

In 1881 New Mexico, newly-appointed Sheriff Pat Garrett is upset after Billy the Kid comes to Lincoln and essentially steals his good friend, Doc Holliday. After Billy is wounded, Doc drops him off with his girlfriend, Rio, who has reason to hate Billy but instead falls for him. The four are forced to team up to escape hostile Mescaleros before having a showdown. The unlikely friendship between Doc and Billy grows stranger when Doc hides Billy at Rio's place after he's shot, leading to a surprising turnaround in their complicated relationships.
