Biography
Ben "Son" Johnson, Jr. was a renowned American actor, stuntman, and rodeo cowboy, known for his authentic portrayal of Westerns. Born in Oklahoma to a rancher family, he delivered horses to Hollywood before becoming a film star, with notable roles in The Last Picture Show, where he won an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor. He also excelled as a rodeo cowboy, winning the 1953 Team Roping World Championship and being inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame.
