Shane

Shane, a weary gunfighter, rides into an isolated valley in the sparsely settled Wyoming Territory in 1889. He is hired as a farmhand by hardscrabble rancher Joe Starrett, who is homesteading with his wife, Marian, and their young son, Joey. Shane soon finds himself drawn into a conflict between the small farmer families and a ruthless cattle baron, Rufus Ryker, who is determined to drive them off their land. Shane, a laconic but skilled gunfighter, must act to protect the Starretts and their way of life.
